I have a Minkota 50 for a long time now and have never tried it.  What battery are you using with your new setup?  Think it would be fun to troll for trout with this thing on my AI

Half the cost of dakota's 100ah, that is pretty tempting.

Ordered it during Cyber Monday and only paid $360.99 free shipping.

Just received the battery.   Will install it tomorrow and work on the wiring.   Hopefully will complete everything this week and take my new kayak out for a spin soon.

Done with mounting the battery and trolling motor power wiring.  Having issues with missing nut & bolt plus swivel chair mounting holes not lign up!

Just completed fish finder and transducer installation.  Also tidy up the cables & wiring.   Can't wait to test ride it.

Looking good! Did you resolve the seat mounting issues?
I'm looking forward to your test run report.

Yes.  I drilled the misaligned hole and used another set of nut & bolt.
