Having trouble getting it to work on the website, but this deal is supposed to run until the 14th so I'll call tomorrow and sort it out.

Getting a replacement hull this winter so will have to start over and mod my outback again, it's definitely the fun part but is a lot of work lol. Ive been using PVC for my nose plate but I'll use your method for the bottom side skids and the back I think. Thanks for the idea!

very nice Paul, thanks for sharing.  I put the BerleyPro protectors on my PA and Lynx...and not at all happy with the fit - also like the added protection areas you can get when you apply yourself.  I'll likely do as you did on my PA.

Looks great and thanks for the tip on getting more JB Weld at a good price. My Passport gets similar treatment, adjusted for the different shape, of course. Have to replace the epoxy nose job about once a year. It’s been working nicely.

Good reminder - I should probably put some sort of protection on mine too.

Anyone use any kind of additional plastic layer, like kydex or similar? Couple thermoform to the shape of the hulk, and use marine goop or similar to adhere.
 

I've used JB weld on both my Revos bow and Stern high contact high wear areas. I tape off with blue painters tape, brush on with a glue brush and remove tape after the epoxy first starts to setup. Easy peasy and easy to repeat when needed. I also heat molded some PVC to the point of the stern (contact when taking off roof of car) and that got epoxied in too.

I used that (or something very similar) about 20 years ago to repair a pinhole leak in an old Kawasaki motorcycle gas tank.  Worked great for that!  Not sure that specific product would adhere well to plastic though.
