If you're ready for an 8 day trip there might be a few spots open on Kyle and Jesse's West Coast Charters trip on the Polaris Supreme next October. I just signed up and there's a few other NCKA'ers going.

The Polaris passed us on the way out. Massive!  :smt007

Thanks, definitely something to consider.

That was probably the Royal Polaris that you saw. The Polaris Supreme isn't much bigger than the boat you were on.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Alright Alex….yellow card sir for improper use of the term shenanigans on a fishing trip  :smt001

Proper shenanigans are tossing a sardine into your buddies xtra tuff while he’s fighting a fish; tapping his rod to make him think he got bit or  putting all your bonito on his number  :smt003

Or tying a 5 gallon bucket to their trolling rod when they keep disappearing during their trolling rotation.

Or turning all of their reels upside down on their rods at night.

Ya ! putting a sardine in my mouth ( second video)is pretty low bar shenanigans.  :smt005

My buddies were messing with me though. My running tab for beer was 10 beers and like 12 waters/sodas. I actually drank 2 beers . and maybe 6 water/ sodas.( brought 6 red bulls ) I didn't complain, but when i went to pay my tab, they paid the entire thing.  :smt001 Was funny in that each time i went to grab a beverage there was always an extra mark or two, Ha !!

Here is a great pic I took of the guys who went.

OMG that looks good!  Took me a week resting at home before I could even cook anything after night fishing for bft.  You're like the energy bunny.  How long and what temp for smoking?  Wondering if it 'preserves' as well as giving deliciousity?  Preserve like salmon that I can smoke then freeze then eat later.  I have a bunch of belly meat not decided what to do with yet.

I dropped them in the brine to defrost.  Checked after a couple hours, then trimmed the membrane, which sort of firms up in the bring.  Then back in the brine overnight.
