Looking for a Farmer John wetsuit in large or XL. I am 5'11" and ~200lb, so thats large in some xl in others.

Preferably 5mm but I am open to other thicknesses as well.

It's hard to find anything but a 3 mil FJ that will have a relief zipper.  Please let us know if you find anything over 3 mil that has a zipper!

I ended up getting a 5/4 wetsuit from a garage sale near me. Guy was my size and build and it seems like the thing should work well.

Depending on how hot I get out there, I may end up cutting off the hood or some arm sections.

I hope it’ll work for you!
Please post again when you get a chance to test it.

I just learned that thickness is not standard (meaning 5mm from one suit can be colder than 3mm from another, especially if the 3mm is all around and the 5mm is chest only).
And also that age affects suits since the gas escapes over time and makes them less warm.

I might be made of neoprene, as I have exactly these same issues…
