Currently living in Eureka and looking to get into a pedal kayak. Most of the posts here are at least a 4 hour drive, so I am curious if there are any local or semi-local people looking to sell a pedal kayak.

Not very specific on what I am looking for, but mainly looking for either a Hobie outback or a Oldtown pdl (12 ft pref).

Pacific outfitters in eureka should be selling demo and rental kayaks soon if you want a deal on a used one. I think it was around November.

Thanks for the advice. I checked them out this week and was glad to see that they have both hobies and oldtowns.

We also often run the NCKA Express for when you buy things out of area.  It just costs gas money or beer.

I'm not quite sure what that means, but it sounds useful
