This doesn't surprise me anymore, There has been videos of them incriminating themselves more and more however some would do a follow-up and owned the mistake while other choose to hide and ignore it. Like it didn't happen lol There are videos of people fishing in the SF bay with 2 rods or even 3 going for halibut. Or using a barb/treble hook when you have salmon aboard, or when fishing for RF having 5 hooks. Old or young, experience or not, when its about YT...its all about the views. Please like, share, and comment lol  :happy1: Happy Monday lol

Can someone please post the edited video he supposedly reposted after realizing his mistake? I’d like to see how he concealed the fact that it was a coho.

There are 3 videos.
1) the original YT video he put up
2) The edited version of the video that he put up after cropping out all the clips of the mouth
3) the video "clip" in this thread which is a reuploaded part of the Video #1.

Video #2 is no longer online, nor is #1, but #3 is a portion of the original #1 video that has been re-uploaded by a 3rd party.

When he uploaded Video #2, he removed Video #1. After 5 days of Video #2, he removed it as well and uploaded a video of an actual king salmon.

Here is another good one... The most popular youtuber... FML...

At 12:00 in this video he explains that after salmon on board, can't use barbed hook any more, and he even said it "let's pinched down the barb"...  and here you go.

In another recent video he kept a hook and line sea cucumber, which I don't think that is legal either.

99% of folks who post fishing vids on youtube strike me as incredibly narcissistic people who get off on the sound of their own voices and the images of their own faces. This cat appears to be a stellar example of that. Bummer that these dudes are the face of kayak angling.

The only channel I follow is Pixster Time. No talking, just vids of him killing big legal fish.

Mr Markus is another one of these. A bit of talking, mostly to himself though. He's a stone cold slayer.

If you go through FML videos, there are plenty more examples...  Off the top of my head, one video where he is shorefishing, and keeping fish in a small tidepool puddle as a makeshift livewell until he can catch larger fish and "safely release" the ones he has already legally retained...  Another vid, he retains a female dungee and chucks it into his boat because fishing is slow.  Later on when he shows his catch for the day, he has clearly high-graded to a limit of males, and the female he kept and chucked into the boat earlier isn't shown or mentioned.

Just curious, besides those those who get 100k+ views consistently, how much $$ is involved.

My work supports my addiction and just wanna know if I should start posting videos about basic shit.

He basically shorten the video, so there are no close ups of the fish or prolonged line of sight of the mouth.  However, you can still tell its a coho during the net job, while its on the clip (gilled/dead).

im pretty sure you're allowed to play musical chairs with crabs as long as you're only taking your limit.  you cant keep like 30 then sort them, but if you have 10 and then pull up your last trap and it's got one huge crab, i don't think its illegal to throw a still alive and well smaller on back and keep the big one.... not sure, though the party boats do it.   you technically cant even open the trap up to dump it out without putting it on your vessel and being "in possession" of them..
