What did you do with your mirage drive during the surf portion of the lesson? Just curious! The class sounds awesome and something I should definitely look into!

We placed them by the instructor's kayak which was on the shore once we landed at Surfers Beach.
For our first landing, we removed them and placed them under our rear bundgee with a safety leash.

That class sounds really useful. I would like to take it in the coming months. There is a 2-person minimum (unless I want to pay $300, which I don't).

If anyone is interested to buddy up for this let me know. The cost would be $150 each.

I took the class with Paul.  Definitely useful skill.  Already using back brace technique today at Rockaway.  Otherwise it would have been a small yard sale.
