Ocean, timber or fort ross

Anyone interested in joining tomorrow? Weather looks nice! Lmk, I’m open to any of them. Just want someone to go with!

What conditions are you looking at?

I’d be curious to know how how the fishing and conditions are. I’m looking at driving up on the 13th or 14th and am undecided between that area and further north (Albion, Shelter Cove, etc.).

If you’d be willing to share I’d appreciate it. I only get out a few times a year and would love to get into some fish.

I was looking at wind/swell/tides. Ppl use different sites. I like windy for swells and wind and Willy weather for tides. Wind wasn’t terrible (I like to look for 12 and below) and swells were 2 w 3 foot waves at 8ish secs between sets.

If you’re willing to make the drive all the way up I say go to shelter cove. Buttt northern sonoma can be super productive on a good day… good luck out there!

Thanks for your response. I will try to fish on Tuesday Aug. 16, if anyone is around? Heading to Albion/Mendocino on Wednesday Aug 17, unless (?) Sonoma is fishable and is doable?

Sonoma forecast for 8/16 is currently 8.5 NW swell @ 8 seconds.  Way too rough for my comfort.

For tomorrow, looks like swell is low but wind may be a problem, especially by mid-day.
