My son is a deckhand on the aztec. That 3 day trip with the 60 blue fin came all on 1 drift on one of the 3 days. If anyone wants 1st hand reports of what's going down south with the blue happy to share Intel.

Keep 'em coming.  I'm on a 3 day starting next Saturday!

My son left this morning working a 3 day trip so I won't hear from him till Monday.  Yellowtail is wide open right now and tuna has been finicky lately.

One spot just opened up for the 3 day:

https://shogun.fishingreservations.net/sales/

I'm driving down Saturday and staying at a hotel, boat leaves Sunday at 10 am. I'll be driving back on the 3rd if anyone wants to join me.

End of trip report: It was epic. 112 BFT landed with 26 people over 3 days. 24 hours a day fishing, boils of fish everywhere in the day. Hot bites on jigs at night. So fun! By the end of it I had 400 pounds of blue fin tuna when we landed.

After getting 5 out of 6 tuna processed at 5 Star I put everything in an old refrigerator I got off CL for free with 100 pounds of ice. It worked very well as a free XXXL cooler! I still have one whole fish completely covered in ice in the fridge /cooler I am saving for this weekend.
