Slow pitch for salmon?

Guys do it up here in Eureka and Trinidad and also in Shelter Cove.  Im pretty sure you don’t need cocle hooks because you are not using bait.  I watched guys get their limits with 3oz Pline laser minnows.  Jake on the Seahawk will jig for them while his clients are mooching.  It works better standing because you do long quick strokes up and then let it fall and repeat.

Barbless j hook is legal.  Up to 2. Gibbs,p line,mega bait jigs have fooled salmon for me.
