Hull number on Hobie

Hello,
I just registered my kayak with DMV and got two decals to place on the kayak.
Do I also have to place the 12 digit Hull ID on the bow?

Your CF numbers and stickers only. HIN is stamped into the stern by MFG

Should be like:   BOW   CF #### XX [reg sticker] [optional mussel sticker]                  STERN
