What is my FF trying to tell me

So I got a Lowrance Elite-4 CHIRP like four years ago, and never installed it until recently.  It's been a bit eye opening compared to my previous fish finders, that I only really ever trusted for depth. I've been trying to understand how it works, watched several videos on them and each time I'm still not sure how in the world people know what marks are what kinds of fish.  Point to some specks on a ridge and say they are bass, etc. So I started taking pics of the FF and wanted to know what someone else thinks about the marks I was seeing.


I'm pretty sure this was a school of stripers and had bites when I had seen them on the FF:

But then these marks in the same area seem much bigger, are they just bigger stripers?

Then a bunch of much thinner marks:

Then REALLY big marks which after seeing a dino jump, makes me think dino but not sure.

you are probably spot on. Def striper in the first picts. bait balls are unmistakable when you see them.gh. the change in thickness and rising edge means exactly that. Active fish, coming up to bait. I'm still trying to figure out my new tripleshot side veiw. fun to figure it out when you are fishing, not catching... Show you some stuff while at Amador? See ya fri night
