Hey Guys, I need to drop.  We've contracted with a guy to paint our house, and he's somehow decided that was the right week to tackle it.  I need to spend part of the weekend doing final trimming and clearing around the house so he can get access.

Have a great time, hopefully I'll make it next time.

Thanks,
Brian.

I'm hoping to get out there Friday around noon but just started a new job and need to confirm there will be no negative consequences if I take the day off.

1.16 miles to site from boat launch parking lot.

From the google maps view. Looks to be a good amount of trees at the site. Perfect for just bringing some tarps and cord to attach to  for whatever reason. Thought about bringing a canopy but this would be an easier route .

BOOM !!!

Just did my final dry run and everything is fitting perfectly and I'll be just as glamped out as a car camping trip.  :smt003

Just gotta pack some clothes, throw together a few fishing set-ups, and grab a few things from the store and I'll be ready.

Too bad it's only Sunday.  :smt009

I totally forgot it was a paddle in event.  So due to my poor planning and unpreparedness for this trip, and because gas is too damn expensive to take the tundra, im just going to pass on the camping, but ill roll up there on saturday and hike in with ninja to hang out for the day.

The popcorn is a go as well. Well, depending on how the shenanigans go.

Glad i did the test run. The popcorn was a little plain but convenient . I am going to try and pop some kettle corn that is for the microwave in a larger pot and see how it goes.    :smt001
