Getting gear ready for my first Halibut trip in the SF bay. In need of a medium size Farmer John. NRS or Stohlquist in 3mm preferred but not necessary. Seems that no one has them in stock.
Thanks, Kevin

From what I understand, you normally have to size up on the wetsuits. If you're a medium, you might have to get a size or two sizes bigger. This was the case for me at least.

I’m your huckleberry. PM me. Pretty sure it’s a medium. Might be a large. I’m 5’8” and could lose about 15 pounds, for reference  :smt044

Thanks Bluekayak but I'm thin as a rail and would swim in a lg/xl.
Not ready to hit the open ocean yet. This bay trip will be my first time in salt water and I will not go alone. Hoping to join several of you experienced fellow NCKAers the first couple of times to get my feet wet (pun intended). Planning on hitting the ARW When it turns on in a few months.

I found an NRS 3mm on Facebook Marketplace brand new for $30 about 18 months ago.  Some online dealer, must have bought up old stock.  I'm a large and the large fits pretty true to size.

After nearly cutting myself out of my old full body suit cuz I had to pee so bad, I bought a zip-up model the is kinda reverse farmer John. It is full length arms but short on the legs. I wanted the zipper so I could take a leak OTW. I wear heavy weight leggings under the WS.

Thanks for the offer. I'm still looking. Might try on a large for size to see how they fit if I can find some place in Sacramento that have them in stock.

Haven't heard back from Sakana Seeker.

Sakana, you out there?

Slightly off topic.
One thing I've noticed about NRS vs Stohlquist wetsuits is the smell. The NRS farmer john wetsuits (have 2 of them) have this neoprene smell to them that sort of makes me feel nauseous even before getting on the water. The Stohlquist one doesn't have any smell at all and right now I prefer that over the NRS. Just an observation.

I recently got one off ebay, brand new with tags still attached for under $100 total.  Keep an eye out on there.
