My Bullards Bar trip Saturday was awesome.  No wind, glass surface and sunny. Kept 10 Koke's. C-n-R'd 1 Rainbow and 9 bass.

Kevin

nice! I've been thinking about Bullards recently, how is the water level now?  Last time I fished there was early summer, and the water was really low.

Water has come up 30-40' but still 60' from full. Slight stain. No ramp or floating pisser at Dark Day. Hot Pink Micro Hoochies behind a Chrome/Pink dodger for Kokes. F7 Rapala in Blue/Chrome for the Trout and Bass. Trout & Bass were caught trolling in the back of Willow Creek. Kokes were spread out all over. No big pods, just had to hunt and peck for them anywhere from 15-50' deep.

The one thing i'm still looking for though is some good warm waterproof gloves.

I wear a pair of waterproof Sealskinz brand gloves I was issued in the USCG decades ago.  The knit is worn in a few spots after many years of abuse, but they're still watertight.  This is the latest revision of the ones I have: https://www.sealskinzusa.com/products/waterproof-all-weather-ultra-grip-knitted-glove

Thanks Tedski!  Should probably start my own thread on this, but I'm surprised to see knitted and waterproof in the same sentence, but I trust you know what your talking about.  If they last years, and are warm and waterproof, I'm pretty much sold!

Last thread jack, I promise... the glove is multi-layer with the knit layer being the outside.

Tedski, do you get hooks stuck in the knit outside of those Sealskinz waterproof gloves? (Sorry to continue the thread jack).

If I'm not careful, yes.

The ones I have are a few generations older, but they run true to size.
