This thread is fun... some people think cucumbers taste better pickled.  I think those people are assholes!   
I do love me some pickles though, maybe Im the asshole.  Probably not though... anyone caught a sturgeon yet?  Better question - anyone pumped out any ghost shrimp or grass shrimp locally yet? 
 

Might try a mudshrinp soak tomorrow...my buddy pumped up 50 ghost in 30 minutes in A l a m e d a...code...I want to be alongside you when you catch a biggah one den mine...

I’d get him a gun but he should do a step up first If let him he would be on mavericks the next opportunity The other factor is wherever he goes I go and I’m swimming with camera in hand while he surfs, I’m getting to know currents at the different spots so there’s a learning curve

Way off topic, lol, Hijacking this shitstorm…I’ve surfed maxxed out steamer Lane on a 6’6” pintail that had some volume.  That wave is so mushy all you get is a bottom turn and then you chase it to the inside looking for a wall.  If he’s looking to surf mavericks, I’d say get him the board he wants to ride at mavericks and wait for the lane to go bananas, take that board out and learn it there.

Irish Whiskeys are making a big comeback..smooth, well balanced , triple distilled and not peated like the Scotch Whisky from Scotland  and there's a few other differences ( Irish whiskeys ad the e , Scotch whisky no e) you can find some peated  ( using peat to dry the grains) Irish but it’s not the norm
