Eastern sierras December trip (video)

Went on a trip to fish for some crowley steelhead earlier this month. I immediately hooked into a beautiful fish on upper owens but that was short lived. I fished that river for 2 days and that was my only fish. I hit hot creek a bit and did much better but had a tough time keeping fish on the line. Here's a video of the trip.

Love that area.  Looks like the drag on your reel is loose.   May let tension on the line slack.
