The best part is that he makes metal fish that he sells at craft fairs. He had several hanging in his shop, and I might get one when I go pick up the second aka on Monday.

I didn't have time to stop by today, but should be there tomorrow (Wednesday, at the latest), and I'll try to remember to get some pics then...

I finally picked up the other modified aka bar from the welder. Getting the gear together to anodize was taking too long, so I decided to just paint it (white is the primer, blue is the topcoat).

I'll be surprised if the paint holds up for long--if not, I'll strip it and just leave it as bare aluminum. In the meantime, I'll have the only Ikea themed AI in existence...
