Hey Everyone - I’m working on a DIY kayak cart with some adjustable pvc tubes.  Don’t know if this will work the way I want it to or not, guess I’ll see.  Any suggestions on rounding the ends of the pvc pipe, pipe caps or heat gun and shape?  Do they need to be rounded off?  Thinking about scrape-age.  Any input appreciated.  Thanks.

Liked the addition of pipe insulation on my kayak stand. Little additional protection when maneuvering the kayak on the stand. Looks like a fun creative project!

Looks good. I don't think scrape-age will be a problem, but if you're worried, why not just put caps on the ends?
Please don't spoil my day, I'm miles away...

Liking the overall look of your design!  I'm no expert, but I'd think that scrapage isn't much of an issue unless the ends have a very rough cut and then I'd probably smooth out the burs or sand it.  What kind of yak are you going to store on it?
