I’m copy and pasting yet only a blank grey screen shows and the other vids previously posted are also missing, any suggestions?

Yes sir yet the vids I've posted and this new one are not registering...hmmm...if you go to my stealth journal thread can you see the vids I've posted?  If so, then I'd know if it's on my end...

this has always worked for me.  Tandy TAkes or in extremis, the triple chocolate cupcake pack.

The main cause I've seen of this behavior has to do with how you (or your browser) load the site.  If you load the site over insecure http, then youtube embeds work just fine.  If you load the site by https, though, the youtube embeds won't work and you'll see a grey box where the video should be. 

The technical details behind this are that the plugin that detects the youtube link in the post and attempts to turn it into an embed does so via http.  This gets flagged by your browser as what's called "mixed content."  That is, you're expecting traffic to be encrypted (https) and some of it would not be.  Your browser then decides to not perform those calls and keep all traffic secure per your expectations.

The workaround is to make sure you load the site via http and not https.

I imagine at some point you visited via https, maybe via a Google search or something.  That cached the more preferred https scheme.  Then when you use autocomplete to visit the site, it chooses https.  Just a shot in the dark.

I hear ya’.  It is presently unviewable on my end.  Actually, when I hit the little code reader icon at the bottom right it says https.  Oh well, NBD…
