One good thing was that i was able to coordinate a bunch of home repair/maintenance stuff without having to use my PTO.

The good and the bad is that everyone's remodeling, landscaping etc.  neighbors putting up a large ADU = big time noise.  We'll get em back though when our remodel gets underway.

looking forward to get back to the office...and away from my fully stocked fridge

Used to be more snax at work than home, but its opposite now.  Funny, my home fitness level has oscillated between really fit and totally unmotivated.  about 6 weeks into pandemic i got as strong as ive ever been.  Now its not totally out the window, but i've grown so bored with calisthenics

I do miss having folks to chat with

Engagement/collab is the primary driver for me to get back in office.  The thing is that its damn near impossible for everyone to go in on the same day, just not going to happen.  And if the company mand8's a certain schedule or attendance to force face2face time, then its seen as dictatorially inflexibl

The folks that work in our offices will still be working remotely until at least February. for us Operations/field folks, it has been business as usual from day one.  In the beginning, they ordered us a supply of masks and then wished us luck.

It’ll be weird to see them all in person when they come back. I’m sure they’ll be happy to see that we kept the lights on for ‘em.
Usually out of the running for Husband of the Year by January 4th of each year...

“I’m going fishing.”  They said, “we will go with you.”
