I'm sure it's sketch - and rare to get low tide - but no impossible right? Any experience?

Using the search feature in the upper right corner here, this was one of the first posts on the list when I entered "Ocean Beach launch":

I used to surf Ocean beach when I lived from 2003-2007.  The problem with OB is the conditions change every hour.  There’s usually 2-3 surf breaks to get through and they constantly change with the current, wind, and sand bar.  If you do happen to make it out, don’t expect to land back in at the same spot in a few hours.

Are you saying that you are no longer alive and only lived for 5 years?  :smt005

I used to surf OB as well.  There are very few days where it would be possible to make it out.  Be prepared to go swimming if you decide to give it a go.

China and baker beach would be better options but you have to go on a super calm day.
