Great FISH!

I was out there and to note.......we had not a bite all day and then BAM Thomas got this thing as heading in.

We've all had that beautiful fish that was a bit of a disappointment in the fight, this thing wouldn't stop and was on his line for what seemed 20 minutes...>GREAT JOB GETTING IT IN AND LANDED!

Great report and very nice king!  Fat for its length.  Big congrats, and enjoy thinking of that prize every night when you go to bed for at least 3 months!  If you're a super well rounded and down to earth dude you'll hang up the fishing rod now and not obsess with getting the next one...   :smt005

Everybody here is well rounded. That's how we made it to this forum, right?

Well deserved! The most I covered in one day of pedaling was 10 miles I think. Beautiful fish. Makes everything worth it

Congrats, that's a heck of a fish! I know how hard one has to work to get a king from the Monterey Canyon.

After a few boat side heartaches I use a gaff on the large ones now. Far less problems with a gaff. Nice going.
