How about a painter's pole? ...

I actually looked at this exact pole at a local HD. The inside (aluminum) part would be perfect, but the outside (fiberglass) part is too big. So, I'd need 2, and some way to splice them together. Might have to think about this option some more...

Would it work if you used it upside down, the smaller diameter at the deck and the thicker atop the mast?

I have an idea.  Not necessarily a good idea.  Glue or screw a bicycle tire valve into the end cap on the PVC tubing, and pump it up to about 150 PSI.

No reason to stop at an inflatable mast, when there are inflatable wing sails...

Search Amazon for "telescoping pole".  Tons of options from flag poles to ski poles.  All sorts of sizes, lengths, materials, etc.

That's a good thought, but the problem is that there is a sleeve that the mast has to lip into, and it'll only accept about 1" diameter. The sail itself requires about a 12' mast. But, if I have a mast that's 16', it'll attach directly to the main mast at the top, and the whole setup will be a lot more stable, especially in rough conditions. So, if it there was a similar 24' painters pole, that would work...

Premade cf tubing really isn’t that expensive..TBH

That does look like a reasonable option. Thanks for the link.

FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) tubes.  They make them in all sorts of o.d.’s, 1” shouldn’t be an issue.  They should be a lot more rigid than pvc.

I found some in 20’ lengths from a aircraft supply, only problem was the tube is $75 but shipping was $400 lol. The supplier was in San Diego so if you’re down that way you can probably will call it.

Or these…
