Hit Phoenix lake today from 4pm-sunset with some good results. All fish seemed to be shallow, caught lots along the bank just outside the grass edge with a dropshot, squarebill crankbait, jig and T-rigged creature bait. Caught a ton of fish, probably ended up landing close to 30. Despite the insane numbers, all the fish were small, with the largest probably just over the 2lb mark. Did see  couple bigger fish cruising along just outside the weed line but they were wise to my tricks. If I could restart the day with my knowledge I would only throw a jig and a swimbait to try and get a bigger bite, was really frustrated not to pick up any better fish but that's that challenge.
