I'm missing something here. Why did they not try to get back on the kayak? You could lay on like a surf board to get out of the water.

I guess the millennials don't know how to take the blame. It's the coast guards fault that they are idiots.

Claiming the generation they are apart of as the reason for their ignorance and stupidity is so egregiously ignorant in itself I'd be surprised if you even knew how to generate an Adobe PDF.

As someone who is new to all this, and didn't even touch the water until all my safety gear, I'm pretty freaking annoyed at how cavalier the guy remains after all of this.  Everyone is reprimanding him and in one of his comments he "hopes his youtube channel will grow out of this situation." He's more concerned about views than learning.  What an idiot.

There are kayakers that do YouTube and there are YouTubers that do kayak fishing. You can tell from the beginning that they are all about the YouTube.

Darwin will catch the idiots that are out there !! Simple truth... like Forest said: stupid is as stupid does!

Well I tried to watch that but wanted to slap that guy almost immediately... the little clicking noise he makes with his mouth... his buddy is more interested in his phone than fishing... not my fandom, couldn't make it past the intro.

Same for the most part. Then I felt annoyed I even tallied one more view onto his count even though I didn't watch it all. We have to stop feeding clicks to guys like this.

I am also guilty of adding another view count for these idiots, but I only watched like 1 minute of it so I didn't waste too much time. 

They will win that Darwin award soon or later. 

His PFD didn’t inflate?  The second guy should have immediately put his on just in case he got pulled over if the guy in the water panicked.

Not all inflatable PFD's self-inflate.  Some have a "rip cord" that must be pulled.  But on the positive side, at least I'm far from the stupidest kayaker out there.

When states eventually enact a training course and license for kayakers, l be sure to thank these two asshats.

On a positive note : thumbs up to the buddy system.  They did that right.  Solo that guy wouldn’t have the same odds.  The cell phone alone was a godsend.
