New Member Intro...

  I'm Bill Grizard AKA Griz marking up on this board on Feb 28, 2021 as a newbie.  I have two related projects that I am working on.  One is the restoration of my Dad's 1966 Starcraft runabout. The other that brings me to this forum is the restoration/repurposing of a 14' Cobra Marauder kayak purchased by my wife at a garage sale.  It appears to have been used as a dive platform and I want to outfit it for lake and river fishing.  I was hoping to avail myself of the wizened knowledge of those that had taken on similar projects, as well as knowing what kind of safety precautions need to be accounted for in the design and build-out, before I get too far down the road in time and investment.  I think I have enabled my email on this forum so if you have any suggestions or resources outside of this message board you can share, that would be appreciated.
