Windy! Could not slow the drift down fast enough to effective jig the deeper parts for bigger bass. On the south west corner manage 4 tiny bass on a minnow type swim bait in ghost green color. Gave up bass fishing and switched to trolling a small crocidle with weight and picked up a beat up looking planter trout. Tossed them all back to catch another day, except that trout probably won't make it through the summer. What was weird is you usually see the perch in the shallow but there were almost no fish in the shallows? Saw one good size bass right at dusk that I spooked when I was grabbing gear off the dock.

Nice report.  It seems that most of the bluegill/redears are not spawning yet.  I found one area under some brush that had a bunch of them spawning but the rest of the shallow areas seemed to be empty.  Maybee in another few weeks or a month they will all be spawning.  I was thinkin maybee these late storms threw them off or something.
