The reports sound great for Pigeon Pt. area and Marin as well. However, at Marin it's the age-old problem of the parking lot not opening 'till 8 AM or whatever. I want to be cleaning fish by then!  :smt003
So I'm thinking of launching from Pigeon Pt. Anyone know how far out the bite has been? The Hoffman report listed the coordinates
37-12/122-44 but I'm nautically challenged. Where dat? I tried to find a nautical map online but couldn't. Anyone know where to find one?
If I can't figure it out I might just try Linda Mar.
I'll probably be doing a lot of fishing and no diving for a while due to an ear injury I suffered last week on a white sea bass hunt at Santa Rosa Island.
The ocean looked so fishy tonight at Linda Mar! It's utterly Salmonesque...

Well, to get there, just launch from bean hollow and paddle due west for 18 miles.  ;)

Here's a page that'll look up locations by lat/long and also has marine charts!  http://mapserver.maptech.com/homepage/index.cfm?advancedsearch=yes

The guys out of santa cruz and moss landing are taking salmon from almost the center of the bay.  Maybe 6 miles offshore.  Muir or bolinas is probably the best bet for a kayaker, but we'll see what today's report turns up.
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early.

Thanks for the map tip, Josh. My neighbor got a 16 and a 20 today 6 miles off Pescadero Pt.  I believe I'll give Linda Mar a try.
