Salmon, lings, halibut. Will go solo, but would love some company.

Hey guitarzan, i was going to fish duxbury reef from bolinas on sat. but muir beach sounds good to. I have to get final clearance from my wife, but i would like to go fish with you. what time do you plan on launching? do you launch from the main beach or from the side beach on sunset st.?

I launch from the main beach at about 8 or so. Used to do Dux, but Bolinas is just over an hour to get there, Muir takes me 20 min. Muir is a very easy launch IMO, and Ive launched there many times.

 Absolutly Brau :smt006,

Don't know about live bait, I'm bringing....

Krocadiles, WMA(water melon apex) , jigs/rockfish stuff. squid/popsicles(frozen anchovies)..kitchen sink

Not specific where Muir Beach is but looks as though SteveS had GPS readings for me...

I'm sure Guitarzan will chime in when he gets on=line .......

If you need a VHF, I have a extra one .......

 See ya there....... Danglin

Wheels are a must. Half a mile across flat sand. We can share mine if someone is without. Also, some more funky dfg rules. If you have a salmon on your boat, it is illegal to fish with a barbed hook, even if your going for RF or buts.
My plan is to make a few live bait halibut runs with 2 poles, then try for the lingzillas with swimbait, then troll and mooch for the salmon.
I dont think I want to try and land a 'but or ling on a barbless hook.
Tons of bait to be made there too. Bring sabiki.

I  am going to try to get there around 7 am and launch because i just can't get there soon enough. furthermore i heard it might get a little breezy in the afternoon. Looking forward to fishing with Danglin again he's a solid dude. I've never fished with Guitarzan but I do like listening to ted nugent. I always look forward to fishing with a new guy cause it sort of makes me feel like i almost got my shit together.
