Sorry for the late reply (holidays and all),

I have decided to follow NwM's suggestion of a trailex sut 350 s, and I was able to get in contact with Sun E Sailor over in Florida and after a few phone calls we have designed a trailer similar to his setup. Trailex no longer makes hobie specific parts for trailers other than the hobie specific trailers, so having to rig parts from many different trailers into one. :P

Taken suggestions from many of you in that regard (sticking with 8 inch tires,  I'll be going with 3 cradles and figure out how to make a dolly with the last one for beach launches.

I had a convo with Jacques over at Hobie and they suggested to not go with Malone even though a few people have suggested it to me, as I wouldn't get the appropriate 67 inch spacing. My major worry was outdoor storage at a storage facility possibly getting too hot in the summer (we get up to 110 3 days a year and I most definitely will not be going out on those days so I worry about hull deformation and having 5-6 feet hanging over the back end of the trailer).

As my final update until I actually get everything, here's the very unfortunately status:

Hobie is super far behind on manufacturing and the now recent California lockdown limited them even more, so my TI is 'scheduled' to be delivered to my dealer late Feb/early Mar. Trailex have charged me for the trailer, crossbars, and extra bolts/nuts and 90's and such but have yet to update me with anything about fedex. And I got a storage space rented out for the 2-3 months without a trailer/boat :/ Sadly I'm going to miss the Ling this season as well as a few other fish, might catch the tail end of dungie but I'd bet they are all too soft towards end of March.

I've also ordered a winch. Does anyone know what the product is called that wraps around the crossbars and can attach to the winch hook so that I'm not pulling on the handle?

Sounds like good plan. That should be an awesome setup.
Please don't spoil my day, I'm miles away...
