proving once again, its not the size of the tool that matters. That thing looks great. More manageable than the bigger rigs i've seen. I have a couple of the collapsable ones, and needed to add some wight to keep them from moving around in the current. That looks solid. nice.

I had a danielson walk off on me earlier this year so ill prolly throw some dive weights in there just to be sure. Its pretty managable i think it will work great for me i just have been doing day soaks

75 bucks. They had like 10 made up when i went to pick this up. I added nylon and asked them to wrap the bottom so it came out to 90 bucks.

I just gave them a call and they made it up. im a disgrace i haven't even dropped it in the water yet. I was going to last weekend but the wind came up.

I have to figure out how to bait it without blocking the door or being too close to the edges. mesh bag on wire is what im going to try for now.

If you go collapsible, I would definitely check these out from McKay that are made for Kayaks. https://www.mckayshrimpandcrabgear.com/store/Crab-Pot-Kayak-Crabber-12-x-12-x-24-p53260356

I had the square Danielson's and like these MUCH better for stowing on the kayak (2020 Outback) and getting a heavy pot into the boat.
