I'm glad you're hitting the water, there's been times this year I knew I needed to go out there and didn't.  Keep living your best life!

Thanks again guys.

Here’s a collage pic of what I did with the side of ribs/belly that I kept (gave other side to fuzz).

Years ago we went to a restaurant in New York called La Pulpería and they had FishRibs on the menu from some Brazilian/Amazonian fish.

Super delicious, and we’ve always said we wanted to try and do it, but most of of the fish I bring home have too fine/small ribs to make it work.

The ribs on this wsb were big enough to cut up individually though so we went for it.

Rubbed with bbq sauce, under broiler for 5 minutes, flip and baste, and 5 more minutes.

Fall off bone delicious.

Big congrats Jim! That is awesome! Love the read and hope many more in the future.

Btw, I tried my first fish head reassemble this week on an earlier wsb. It came out pretty nice.

That skull is sick James!

My buddy Bryan was gonna try and do it with the head after he ate off the meat, but he got drunk and started a grease fire with the head in a cast iron skillet so.... :smt044

What a write up!  Thanks for sharing, man.  You deserve that fish with the work you put in both in and out of the water, dude.  I'm so stoked for you... what an experience.
