Hi all,

I am also new to kayaking (just got one a few weeks ago) and took it down to the delta to catch some bass.  I am looking forward to catching halibut, striped bass, and doing some inshore fishing also (over time).  I am retired Army and long time on/off (mostly shore) fisherman due to work demands.  Looking forward to contributing to the group!

Jim

Thanks for the warm welcome. I would love to meet up in the future and catch whatever is on the menu.

I just got back from bethel island. My son caught a few bites but only landed one bass. It was a 4lber. So good day for sure on the kayak

Im looking forward to going out to Crissy field(or any other nearby launch sites) if there are opportunities. Let me know. I have a funky work schedule, so meet for me just depends.

Thanks

James

Crissy is definitely on my to-do list as well as Im local and love the idea of that view! Oyster Point is another great option, so keep that in mind too. Hit me up if your planning on heading out to either!

Hey Byunique,

Will do. I think I may need to get sand wheels for my cart first.

I personally believe sand wheels are a must. They have helped me tremendously especially when going out by myself.

Yes, sand wheels are a must! Be sure to get something secure as well. Yaks tend to come off their wheels far too often when crossing the beach
