Blue Lake (Lassen County)

Last week on Blue Lake.  There are nice browns in it...some day maybe I'll get to meet one.  Alas, not this trip but, hey, at least I got some of that clean mountain air (he said, facetiously)

Yeah, I need to do lots more figuring on it...got about a dozen of those little planter 'bows in 3 fairly short paddles.  That whole area is neat to kick around in (about as rural as California gets) I just hope that W5 Cold Springs fire that was makin' all that smoke didn't burn too close to it.  The day after we broke camp they evacuated the campground.

LOL....before the smoke got TOO thick it did make for one pretty sunset in camp so there was that too 

Nice report, looks like a cool area. One of these days I'll get around to trying to figure out trout.

Jokes aside there’s several Mountain lakes in the far north state that hold some monster browns. Not just aalmanor. Nice video and thanks for the report.
