How’s it going everyone?! I really want to get out for some halibut action on my new passport 12 this Thursday July 30th. I was thinking tomales bay or ARW.  Anyone going out and don’t mind some company? Thanks in advance and stay safe!

Thursdays tides look good for Tomales, so I may show up if the winds work out.

Reports from Tomales sound very slow, but maybe the favorable tides this week turn things back on.

Yeah and the wind seems to be up to 8 knots but definitely will keep checking as the day gets closer

It looks pretty quiet before noon, and then building into the afternoon. Definitely know your limits, but 8 knots isnt terrible. Just go early, leave early, and let us know how you do.

8kts is still nice at Tbay.  Once it gets over 12kts, then things can get dicey and it becomes hard to keep a smooth drift or troll.

last week was slow because of the big tides and moon cycle.  But I know Charles was out there and still finding them.

I fished Tomales Bay yesterday, very slow. No bites in 4 hours.
Other boats where saying the same thing.
