trinidad sniffer report

"We were two miles out straight of the head. We didn't see the need to go out farther as we came across a few pelicans diving for bait fish, we started trolling and within 15 minutes we had a double, but only landed one."

Someone posted the action is happening out of trinidad. Hope this help someone hookup this weekend.

where is trinidad?

Way up north near Eureka... Humboldt County.

Hey guys I was up at Trinidad 2 weeks. Saw one kayak with a trolling setup and guys fishing off the pier for crabs and rockfish. Spectacular scenery if you've never been there.  About a half mile off of 101.

I yakked 2.5 miles north of Trinidad Head last Wednesday ab diving and rockfishing.  Awesome spot, but it's got to be flat.  We nailed the salmon out of Eureka yesterday (powerboat).  I'm itching to go out for the monster lingcod again...
