The man of the hour must be in a news conference! :smt044> He has just become the true "legend" of NCKA. Not to mention the first involved in a GW attack on a kayak fisherman that I know of in the US. He is famous in my book, and I will seek an autogragh and winning lottery numbers from him as soon as I figure what his cell phone number is...... :smt003

Hi, Eric B - Ocean is full of strength and force. Do you have a marine radio? Did you hang out with other fellow kayakers while fishing. Although we had ~17 kayakers out today, people would not notice you missing from the group if you did not tag around others. It happened to me once at the 1st time. Being alone on the ocean would be scary, specially when it is the 1st time.  Glad to know you make back safe.

Man this story has put my WAF account on E.  I was at a full tank up until about 5pm.  I was headed to bean and got the you aint aint going there look.  Then about an hour ago I got the silent you can go but don't go message.  5 weeks till the baby is born, probably got her all worried.  I guess i will wait a few days.

Eric B, sorry I didn't offer to fish with ya...  you seemed fine when i paddled past ya, but it was sure a fast drift and i can see how you'd get hung up in it.  glad you learned and you'll definitely work out the kinks over time.  your launch was very good for first time tho!  Nice catch on the ling too!

Jason I hear ya...  I am still workin on the cafecraig-points, myself.

Oh, I blame noone by myself.  You did keep an eye on me at first and I appreciate that, Craig.  Despite everything I can't wait to get back out there again.  With the right equipment, of course!

Man-O-man  Just when I was toying with the idea to start thinking about fishing the ocean in my OB, This happens!  Think I'll be sticking to fresh water for a bit longer.
