Snuck down to a spot and a got a couple hours of fishing in early before anyone caught me lol... i wouldnt recommend it though, a local woman said they were ticketing vehicles parked on the pullouts and shoulders along hwy 1

If you're going to go against the recommendation of our officials, and "sneak out," at least don't talk about it. You're going to ruin it for everyone.

 

Please read the rules here (https://socoemergency.org/order-of-the-health-officer-shelter-in-place/) regarding what you can and cannot do in Sonoma County. It’s probably the same in most other counties.

Without knowing more I’m going to believe fish blood was spilled within the exceptions listed. Thanks for the report and fish porn!! Great job!!

As a fisherman, you are a fucking ass!
Last I checked, there is NO salt water in YOUR area.
You are not happy with the available resources available in your area you chose to live, so you took it upon yourself to travel outside your area. Now, because of your actions, people like me are having their rights to local access infringed upon to try to keep you under control.
I don't even want to get into the "I didn't come into contact with anyone else" bullshit, it comes down to your actions causing everyone else to loose access to their local activities while you still have all of yours.

My last response to this post is this:

1. I refuse to let the gov control my right to fish

2. I am fishing in a 100% legitimate way (cdfw reg wise)

3. I fill up my tank in my town, make 0 stops and touch nothing but my truck/kayak

4. I acknowledge and understand the concerns in all of this but refer to point 1.

my 2 cents....

this is for the majority and not the minority that rely on fishing as a necessity to feed your family.


"We" are all sounding like a bunch of spoiled kids who were told they can't play with a toy for a few minutes.

My Grandparents went through the Great Depression and World War II.  Try living then where everything was rationed.

To think that we are so soft that we can't handle being told that we need to sacrifice what for the vast majority of us is a recreational activity for the greater good and health of those around us is pathetic.

I don't care how you "feel" or if you think it is your "right" to do whatever you want to do.  Find a new hobby at home until this blows over.
