I think we all pretty much know where most of us stand on the current issues.

Let's chill with the name calling, please.

I don't want NCKA turning into Bloody Decks and I don't want to have to start shutting down threads.

Pretty rich for you - a moderator - to say 'no more name calling' and then turn around and keep calling names.

Desperately looking for a place I can launch for rockfish.
Really? For rockfish?  Why not just catch them from the rocks/shore.  I bet I can catch a better bag of rockfish yand lings from shore tomorrow than you would get in your kayak offshore.  Drive to SoCal for rockfish?  How stupid.  Drive to SoCal for yellowtail, sheepshead, or wsb, but hell no for rockfish.

Sonoma county beaches are shut down by order of the health department. No legal access to sand or rock to rockfish from. Yesterday my nephew walked from our cabin in Salmon Creek to the beach and was escorted off by a park ranger despite the beach being in "our" backyard and he being within five miles of home. There may not be an edict from the state closing all fishing but by eliminating access they have accomplished that in Sonoma County. Other counties, like Mendocino and Humbolt may have  different rules from health departments about getting on to the beach or shore rocks.
