With some freshly caught salmon in the house, I’ve been trying different ways to eat it.
Decided to try some salmon(sake) nigiri.
I bought some sticky rice from a local sushi place but put it all together and man , was that amazing! We went out for sushi a few days ago and this nigiri tasted just like the stuff we bought, probably better cause I caught the fish!!
Looks like the salmon bite is on! Let’s enjoy this stuff!!
Today is the 9th day in a row of eating some kind of salmon!

I make casserole out rotini pasta, homemade sauce and ground turkey.

As it is only the two of us I make the big pot, and freeze a bunch of it.

Recently dove for some scallops and had a friend give me some spot prawns. It was fun to try a few new things in this dish: Corn Puree, herb oil, scallops and prawns! It was a little time consuming but overall pretty easy meal to make and it even looks half way edible.

but one way to burn thru a lot of them:  Shashuka!!
