Novel Coronavirus impacts

Heard a Dr on TV saying in this time of Coronavirus, staying at home, we should focus on inner peace. To achieve this, we should always finish things we start and we all could use more calm in our lives. I looked through my house to find things I'd started and hadn't finished, so I finished off a bottle of Zinfandel, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, the maindar of a valiumun srciptuns, an a box of chocletz. Yu haf no idr how fablus I feel rite now. Send this too all who need inner piss. Am telum u luvum. And two hash yer wands, stafe day avrybobby!!!

So I kinda feel like an asshole but... I donÂ’t really post ever but I do keep a watch on this forum and try to gain as much information as I can, which I very much appreciate by the way!! I kinda felt like I needed to bring this up though. IÂ’ve lived in tahoe full time for the last three years and in no way consider myself a full blood local, tonight I was walking my dog around the block and ran into some folks who admitted to leaving the bay area after the lockdown was put in place and they had a friend who was having a stroke (right across from where I live) so they were headed up to watch the ambulance I guess. I was a bit vocal about how they should be at home as I walked away. As I was walking back up the street to my house they surrounded me with about six people and tried to have a confrontation with me, at way less than six feet... which I also walked away from although there were some loud word exchanged, and resulted in a sheriff coming up to my door to chat.
So now IÂ’ve been potentially exposed due to the people in my space and tahoe is down a icu bed due to an emergency from a non resident in a critical time.

That’s the thing, We can only control ourselves and how we take this SIP. Some people are not taking this seriously.

Locals only bro. That’s always been a tough one on where to draw the line.  Now that non-locals potentially have the bug things have escalated

What a difference one month makes. Covid has changed so much of our daily lives. USA cases per the CDC on February 29 were 24. Today the total is 122,000.

Or someone could have been an adult in the first place and kept their nose out of other peoples business.  Why are you surprised they took exception to you opening your mouth?  I would have called you out on it too.

You had good intentions in the bug picture, but if people haven't taken it seriously yet, no amount of trying to explain it will change their minds or actions. And in their case, their need to see their I'll friend overrode their other concerns. As others have said, just do the best you can for you.
