Part of me thinks his video is clickbait and just to generate views.

I find his videos annoying to watch. Mothershipping a kayak to catch big fish to me isn’t kayak fishing. Yup a lot of click bait!

It must be blowing up again because of his recent Marlin video that went viral.  People are absolutely shitting the bed about him leaving the hook in the shark's mouth.  The video is full of dipshittery but I appreciate him being humble enough to put his past mistakes out there.

Gotta agree with you guys.  Not a fan of the click bait and quite frankly its one of the worst things for fishing these days. Bad reputation and as much as getting new people into fishing, its not for the right reasons and now we see more carelessness and craziness.

Clickbait or not, I'd much rather see someone like this post their mistakes, explain why those choices were mistakes, and own it like he did. Examples of this have been called out on here many times, but too many videos out there paint poor choices as if they're the norm.

Explain how catching a fish while in a kayak is not kayak fishing?  who cares how he got to that area?  If that were the case, then taking a helicopter to a mountain and skiing down it would not be skiing.....I am sure we could come up with a bunch of examples....Is kayak fishing with a gas or electric motor kayak fishing?....

It seems that you've only watched the videos he makes when he's out in Panama at a Kayak fishing centered vacation destination as a guest guide.

When I started watching his videos there was a lot less "Yehoos"  and drunken antics and it was a lot more fun.

but it is what it is.  go check out some of his bass fishing or red drum fishing on a stand up paddle board.
