Didn't fish yesterday evening, but made it to the water's edge at 5:30 this morning. Same beautiful conditions. I had one at about 6 casts into my fishing morning! On topwater, no less. I ended up with 4 strikes and 2 fish landed to about 12 lbs.
A surfer told me he saw schools of fish swimming around where he was surfing.
The fish I kept was plugged full of anchovies. I had to quit early otherwise I'd have stayed for the incoming.
I've been taking pics but forgot the camera's USB wire.
I get to fish one more morning...
Looking for the Big Moe...

Manressa is south of Santa Cruz, about 10 minutes south of the 17/1 intersection. I surfed there a lot, pretty fun beach break...

Manresa is south of the Cement Ship pier. I think anywhere from Capitola to Moss landing could be good.
