Congratulations Al!

I can only imagine what that feels like.  I was the one fishing with Allen a couple of weeks ago and met you then. We got rock fish that day - no butts.

Yesterday was my birthday.....I spent the day on the Santa Cruz wharf with my family looking out longingly at the yaks over in the kelp beds......soon....soon....  :smt001

See ya out there!

Kim
Love it!

Thanks everyone!  I have been so busy with work I haven't been able to log in since the post! Sorry its so long winded too, just wanted to be thorough enough that when I sent the link to all my friends that I didn't have to repeat the story :)

E2G, thanks again for your help out there, pictures, company and clubbing!  I had a great time :)  Now I think I need to pickup a bat of my own ;)  I hope I can get back out there soon to give it another try for the butts.  But I am in the process of purchasing my wife and I's first home, so its going to be rough for the next few weeks to justify a day on the water.  Oh well, at least I will have a place to store my yak and fishing gear now!

Hey Kim, you know where we met on the water that day is just about where this puppy was landed!  Hope you get out there again and this time get a nice hali!

I also wanted to thank everyone on this board.  REALLY I owe it all to the great people and information they have contributed!

Now, back to work  :smt012
