Wow, I'm so sorry to hear.   I recall him talking about his surgery while we were trading kayaks several years back.  Didn't know he was going through all that.

Words fail.... All I can add is that I have had a couple of close friends whose story was tragically similar. It’s difficult from every perspective, but time helps...

I am so sorry to hear this Ryan. Matt was a really nice and good guy. We had a lot of fun at GS. I don't know what else to say but sorry for your loss. Take care Ryan.
