New San Francisco member

Hey All,

Just getting into Kayak fishing up here in the Bay area. Did some kayak fishing and actually caught my first lingcod on a Kayak down on the Central Coast when going to school out there off a traditional kayak and got hooked.

Currently based out of San Francisco and open to going out when conditions are good! Have a truck for transportation, send me a message if you are looking for someone to go out with.

Current Kayak is just a simple fishing Kayak good for mellow ocean days, so nothing special at the moment. Enough to get out there!

Thank for the welcome! Caught a rockfish out in Monterey last weekend when just paddling around with the girlfriend. Looking forward to going out again with some other NCKA members!

Sounds good! Currently on the hunt for a larger Kayak, possibly even a tandem angler if someone knows of one.

Excited to go out rock fishing/lingcod a bit more before the season ends in December.

Looking into picking up a Tarpon T130T tandem this weekend. I saw a few posts about outfitting that Kayak on some of the old posts, has anyone here done it before and have some good recommendations on areas to put pole mounts, rigging a fishing battery to a fish finder etc?
