Thanks for sharing your experience and photos. My grandfather is in Butt lake near lake Almanor. Fishing there will always be special and emotional. Glad you got to check in your your dad, those are special days

Great report and story Eric.  It reminds me of a dive I took after my father passed.  You did well to put into words something that is indescribable emotionally.
