Heading down from sunny Washington to meet my son and family, camping at Big Lagoon State Park and hoping to fish Trinidad for lings and rockfish. May hit Freshwater Lagoon for bass. Anyone been there lately?

Bass in Big Lagoon?  I know it has trout.  Anyone out there know about bass in Big Lagoon?

I've no reports about bass in the lagoons, but I have heard about kayak-caught salmon in the Klamath. Personally, i haven't made it down there yet but hope to soon.

Freshwater can be pretty awesome if the wind cooperates, I preferred the east bank.

There have been random lmb caught in big lagoon.  Not enough to target them tho.  I know of 2 caught in the last few years.  Freshwater has lots tho.  Smallmouth too.  Big lagoon has some nice steelhead and cutthroat.   Lots of large steelhead along the sandy bank on the west side.  Nice cutthroat action with flyrod or spinners along the NE shore.
