Don't know where this rumor about me living in Willow Glen was started -- I'm in vastly-more-upscale Almaden  , along with Marmite (any others?).

I'm bottoming out on WAF right now    If I do go fishing on the 4th, it would need to be in conjunction with a beach outing with the family.  Hoping to get that lined up for Davenport.

Happy to carpool some other time though!!  WG isn't that far from Almaden...

yes, though today the white caps didn't appear till about 8am, and the sun umbrella on my deck didn't blow over until 11. yesterday it was sustained wind, today its strange gusts. SR right now has a light breeze with gale gusts...

i now have an idea where i might go on friday

Very encouraging thread!  I think if I can swing it I will hit up SC this Friday.  Hopefully I can get my FF mounted in time, otherwise I will try blind once again.  The smelt are EVERYWHERE from the harbor to the kelp (and probably much farther out too).  Takes only a few seconds to get some in the boat. 

Btw, I live in Almaden, and grew up in Willow Glenn.  Nice to know there are yack neighbors around
